We are pleased to invite a Chef specializing in European and Asian cuisine to lead our culinary team in two premium restaurants (48 and 150 seats) located in Phuket, Thailand. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for culinary excellence, an innovative approach to menu development and a desire to provide exceptional culinary experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES: Menu development: - Develop a diverse and innovative menu that aligns with current culinary trends and customer preferences;
- Regularly update and refine the menu considering seasonality, ingredient availability and customer feedback.
Dish Preparation and Presentation: - Oversee the cooking and presentation process, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality, taste and visual appeal;
- Train kitchen staff in proper cooking methods, portion control and presentation techniques.
Team Leadership: - Recruit, deploy and develop kitchen staff, creating a collaborative and high-performance work environment;
- Ensure discipline among kitchen personnel;
- Set clear objectives for the team and provide feedback to ensure high quality work performance;
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control;
- Implement and maintain hygiene and safety standards according to operational requirements.
Quality control: - Regularly conduct quality checks on dish preparation, ensuring consistency in flavor, appearance and portion sizes;
- Address any food quality issues promptly.
Innovation and Trends: - Stay updated on culinary trends, methods and ingredients, and incorporate innovative concepts into the menu;
- Seek opportunities for improvement and enhancement of the dinning process.
Cost Management: - Ensure and control optimal spending of the budget on food products and labor, implementing efficient kitchen work methods;
- Reduce kitchen production waste;
- Develop economically viable dishes without compromising quality;
- Conduct inventory checks.
Candidate Requirements: - At list 5 years of experience as a head chef in premium segment restaurants;
- Relevant education in the field;
- Proficient in PC usage;
- Knowledge of iiko (preferable);
- English Proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate level or higher (oral, written);
- Skills in planning work and allocating staff in the restaurant;
- Knowledge of economic indicators in the restaurant business;
- Understanding of sanitary and hygiene standards in food production;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to set and achieve goals;
- Desire and commitment to continuously develop knowledge and skills;
- Teamwork skills;
- Goal-oriented and highly stress-resistant;
- Ability to manage the situations and maintain control;
- Systematic approach and ability to organize oneself to 100%.

- Work schedule: one week – 5 working days / 2 days off, next week – 6 working days / 1 day off (irregular working hours);
