Responsibilities:

• Analytical and document review tasks on tax advisory, tax health-check, tax due diligence and tax compliance projects under the supervision of tax manager
• Assistance with ongoing tax compliance projects for the assigned clients under the supervision of tax manager, including written / verbal communication with clients, preparation of tax calculations, completion of tax returns
• Assistance with tax compliance for individuals under the supervision of tax manager, including review of documents, assistance with the relevant calculations
• Compilation and maintenance of compliance trackers for assigned clients
• Legislative research tasks on various tax advisory projects
• Communication with tax authorities and clients on ongoing tax compliance and tax advisory matters
• Assistance with project administration tasks for the assigned clients.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in Kazakhstan tax advisory / tax compliance / tax accounting
• relevant educational background (degree preferably in tax / accounting / finance / audit)
• superior analytical and business writing skills
• ability and preference to work in teams and in the growth environment
• fluent English and Russian.
