Kapitalbank is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Load Test Engineer. You will support best practices in performance optimization and lead efforts to implement innovative solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Developing performance testing strategies: Planning and designing performance tests for key business functions and mission-critical systems.
• Conducting performance tests: Executing and monitoring performance tests to ensure system stability and scalability.
• Performance analysis and optimization: Analyzing test results to identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Creating test scenarios and load profiles: Developing load scenarios and test profiles based on business requirements and system characteristics.
• Documenting results: Preparing detailed reports with analysis of the test outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
• Supporting external system integrations: Working with integrations, including creating stubs and emulators for external services.
• Stakeholder communication: Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align goals and expectations for performance tests and providing reports on test results.
• Collaborating with development and DevOps teams: Working closely with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate performance tests into the development process and CI/CD pipeline.
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring: Participating in team education, conducting workshops, and providing mentoring.

Requirement

• Development of Performance Testing Methodologies (PTM): Proven experience in creating and implementing performance testing methodologies, including the definition of criteria, metrics, and load scenarios, tailored to the specific needs of financial systems.
• Load Testing Profiling: Ability to analyze and create load profiles for the systems under test, including load calculation and bottleneck forecasting, with a focus on high-load environments such as banking applications.
• Work Experience: At least 4 years of experience in performance testing, preferably in the banking sector or similarly high-load systems.
• Executing Performance Tests: Hands-on experience in planning, executing, and analyzing performance tests with a strong focus on the requirements of financial systems.
• Proficiency with Performance Testing Tools: Strong proficiency with tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or their equivalents.
• Stub and Emulator Development: Skills in creating stubs and emulators for external integrations to facilitate isolated testing.
• Knowledge Sharing: Willingness to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, actively participating in team mentoring and training.
• English Proficiency: Level B2 or higher.
