Job Description: A Trading Analyst is responsible for conducting thorough research on market trends, financial data and trading activities to identify potential investment opportunities for the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor financial markets and economic developments to identify trends and patterns
- Analyze financial statements and reports to evaluate the financial performance of companies
- Prepare and present reports on investment opportunities, risks and potential returns
- Create models to simulate different investment scenarios and evaluate potential outcomes
- Collaborate with traders to execute trades and manage investment portfolios
- Provide recommendations and guidance to senior management on investment strategies
- Stay up-to-date with financial news, regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize investment strategies
- News Processing: Reading news outlets, monitoring Twitter, analyzing associated charts, and then disseminating events into news, pop-up commentary articles, and fundamental event articles.
- Daily Currency Articles and Scheduled Impactful Macroeconomic Event Pop-Ups: Producing daily currency articles, scheduling impactful macroeconomic event pop-ups, writing articles, and creating analytical email newsletters.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field
- 2+ years of experience in trading, investment analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools
- Knowledge of financial markets, instruments and investment strategies
- Ability to create the articles based of financial news
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
